About Me

Bonjour! I’m Kate, a native French speaker, drama teacher, and passionate Camino pilgrim.

For many years, I taught drama in France, where I learned that language is about confidence and connection, not perfect grammar. Later, I taught English to foreigners using a conversation-first approach, helping students gain confidence quickly by focusing on real-life communication rather than textbooks.

Walking the Camino Le Puy (GR65) was a life-changing experience. Since then, I’ve been deeply involved in the Camino community as an admin for the largest Facebook group dedicated to the Le Puy route, where I guide future pilgrims through language, logistics, and preparation.

Today, I combine my teaching experience, French cultural knowledge, and Camino passion to help pilgrims step onto the path with confidence, practical language skills, and maybe a little joie-de-vivre.
